Lee and Reynolds take top titles in All Jamaica Junior Championships!

The All Jamaica Junior Championships concluded tonight with the CAREBACO U19 international silver medallist, Matthew Lee, crowned U19 Boys Singles champion over Shane Wilson. On this occasion, Wilson, (U17 Pan Am Bronze medallist), was no match for Lee, who overpowered Wilson in straight sets 21-12, 21-15

Shezelle McTyson secured her third gold medal for the Championships in the U17 Girls Singles Event, in a repeat match up of the U15 Girls Singles, against Tahlia Richardson. Despite renewed determination from Richardson, McTyson disposed of her opponent in straight sets, 21-12, 21-17

In the U 19 Girls Singles event, Esther Reynolds was victorious over Iesha Gordon in straight sets, 21-16, 21-12, while in the U17 Boys Singles, Isaac Roberts rebounded after a loss in the first game, to win the second game. He then battled from 0-8 down in the third set, to level the score at 17 all, before winning the third set and the match 19-21, 21-9 and 21-19.

The night concluded with the U19 Boys Doubles match-up of Matthew Lee and Kenneth Anglin versus Shaquille Palmer and Delond Miller. Lee and Anglin displayed their dominance in this event with an easy 21-12, 21-10 victory.

The All Jamaica Senior and Masters Championships is scheduled for October 30-November 1, 2015 and will feature the top players In the island.
